Our story
Before Pillar was a Sunday service, it was a God-given vision.
Spring 2021
After much prayer and fasting, Pastor Alex and Margaret stepped out in faith to plant a church in north Commerce City.
February 23, 2023
A group of six gathered for the first meeting. Over the next year, the small group met in Pastor Alex and Margaret’s home to pray, worship, grow in faith, and talk about what the church could become.
January 2024
Pillar hosted its first Interest Night and began holding worship gatherings, Bible studies, and community outreach as the Lord continued bringing the team together.
November 2024
A team of twelve began gathering on Sundays in Pastor Alex’s home for church services, growing in faith and preparing to launch Pillar Church.
September 7, 2025
After much prayer and planning, Pillar Church officially launched at Capstone Academy in north Commerce City.
Today
The story is still being written. We have watched people move from exploring faith to following Jesus, being baptized, building community, discovering their gifts, and serving others.
We are grateful for what God has done, and we believe the best is still ahead.

The Bible is our Standard
The Bible is the authoritative Word of God and our final authority for faith and conduct.

We seek God first because His presence changes everything. Before we plan, build, serve, or move, we pray.

We love people because Jesus loves people. We welcome, serve, and make room for people to belong.

Being Real is our Invitation
We do not pretend, perform, or hide. We bring our real lives to Jesus and walk with one another in honesty, humility, and grace.

We are not just a crowd. We are a church family where people are known, loved, supported, and cared for.

We help people follow Jesus, grow in faith, discover their purpose, and live changed.

We give joyfully because God has been generous to us. Our time, gifts, resources, and lives are for His kingdom.
